Do you know the "old German wool chicken (Gallus Gallus vetus germanicus lana)?
Nope, no wonder, for it was almost extinct and the population could recover thanks only to a qualified herbalist. To discover the best chance of one of those still very rare chickens, has one in April or May on forest edges or clearings. Or, of course with us, because we have a big heart for rare chickens, as you know already ;-) We are namely in the snowy woods one of these cuddly wool chicken encounters we have with us invited, it still asked to bring a few mates and a lot of time. It will make them a few days later eingetrudelt with us and told us her sad fate appear.
The story we have written down from oral tradition, some chickens, the records of the qualified herbalist and historical facts and turn right and done and they produced a little booklet. On the cover you see a real old German chicken wool in natural habitat (winter - in the woolly feathers).
